Or has your religion been indoctrinated into you?

If you're not religious, when did you make the concious choice not to be?

I love Buddhism, I have learned a lot from it and have put a lot of it into practice, but I am still a Christian.
I came across this quote and I just love it.

I was raised SDA, now I am a non denominationl Christian, my Buddhist cousing thinks I'm so open minded that I should be Buddhist lol

Is buddhism a religion or more of a lifestyle?

Ya know i'm not sure...seems like more of a lifestyle though.

This is awesome

I was raised in a goofy (and dangerous) cult. Now, I go to a liberal Christian denomination.

Other. I left the religion I was raised in because Christianity doesn't make sense to me. I practice the religion I chose, eclectic Paganism, starting from about three years ago.

I Am a priestess in a Wiccan Tradition, I follow the path that I chose. I was raised Catholic because in college my mom decided she liked the Pomp and circumstance - her parents were what the rest of the town claimed as spiritual but not religious. I grew up celebrating all of the Pagan Sabbats at my grandparents house. - oh man I loved the Beltane (we just called it May day) bonfire and my grandparents home.

In a group affiliated with the "Children of God."

Even went overseas as a teenager (actually at 12) to do missionary work.

Other. I'm some where in between I'm not religious, and I'm looking for a religion that makes sense to me.
I'm not actively seeking a religion but if something catches my interest I'll look into it with an open mind.
I'm a hot mess right now with my beliefs. I'm not sure what I believe and what I don't.

My beliefs are not determined by any made made religious group.
My family were christians growing up and while I still believe in in Jesus, I've chosen no longer to associate with Christianity. Not because thy are all bad individuals but because it has become a really snooty, arrogant group in this country and I don't believe in the bible anyway.

Basically my beliefs come from personal experiences and were not chosen
