Agreed. We are taxed enough. Now if only the people in control of that money would take a session with Dave Ramsey? We'd be in good shape. ;-)

oh, I dunno. maybe the subliteracy?

the ill-informed hyperbole?

the racism?

the thuggery?

perhaps the paranoia?

And that represents everyone who believes in a lot of what the tea party stands for? So much for not generalizing whole groups of people.

I'm not generalizing.

The question was "what's not to love", are you denying that tea party rallies have these elements?

Tea baggers are treasonous.  They need to be dealt with.

The Tea Party had great motives at the very beginning. They were the forefront of people standing up against government waste and ever-growing deficits. Then they drifted off-message and got co-opted by political interests (the GOP definitely used them for gain) and so were tainted by association with the more 'extreme' factions of GOP voters.

At its core its still a good organization, but its just letting a lot of pointless minutiae obfuscate their message. to their detriment.
