Would you pay a disabled person to pose as family just to cut in line?

I saw this story in The Stir: "...rich Manhattan moms are paying actual handicapped people to pose as family members so their little poopsies don't have to wait in those mean old lines at Disney." WTF??

It got me thinking. If you could afford it, would you pay a disabled person to pose as a family member so you could skip to the head of a line?

No, and I think those that do should be arrested for fraud.

Never.

We're going in the off season to spend less time in lines.

It will require a little more work on our part as parents to ensure that the kids don't get behind in school, but we won't be teaching them that lying is OK.

Let me tell you how they could stop this cold.

Make the Guest Assistance Cards, which are currently for up to 5 people if one person is affected, for just the person plus one companion.

You would be surprised at how many didn't need those cards all of a sudden....

That's unfair to those who are truly disabled. They should be able to enjoy the rides with their entire family/party. Why punish those who truly need it because other jerks abuse it? That makes no sense.

This makes me mad... The GAC passes are for actual disabled people and their families and I hate that people take advantage of it.
