Feelings about your child's sexual orientation

Question.... My husband and I were talking about our feelings if any of our children were homosexual... Times have changed, but I know from our generation, and generations previous, it was something that was looked down upon. How as parents would "you" respond? Thank you

Am I correct in assuming that you feel every one makes the choice to be gay?

As long as the person they have a relationship with is a good person and makes my child happy, I don't care.

Very upset.

From the time they were born I began praying for them and their future spouse.  My oldest daughter recently was married to a wonderful guy and his family did the same : ) A match made in Heaven !

Well I'm not gay, so I have no incite if its one way or the other... My curiosity is are "you" as the parent willing to be open minded, and/accepting?

I think people are both born gay and people can choose to be gay.  Whatever happens, happens.

Do not care one way or the other, I just want him to find someone he loves and who treats him right.

As long as they know which pieces of silver to use aT dinner and don't pick their nose in front of me, I don't care.

I'm assuming you mean insight not incite...although it could have been a Freudian slip, I don't know.
