I need some input

My mom developed a shoulder pain about a month ago, we assumed pinched nerve, slept on it wrong, whiplash etc...No kind of pain medicine relieved the pain. the last 2 weeks the pain has moved down to the middle of her back, I was probbing around on her neck with some icy hot and felt a mass that spans across her neck and up to her right ear where there is a lump.

Blood work, MRI, xray, and 4 doctors later and numerous medications no one knows what this is.

The pain and swelling is getting worse and we dont know what else to do.

Any idea?

Thanks!

I don't know.  That's pretty scary if 4 doctors don't know.  Could she be having an allergic reaction to something, maybe a medication?  Damaged her shoulder and she is having a "healing ridge" form while it is repairing itself?  Frozen shoulder?

I'd try someone new, or someone alternative.  My best results with weird things have been alternative.

I hope you get some answers.  I'm sorry.  It sucks to not feel well.

Thanks for the response.

The only thing I know she did different around that time was get a perm and a dye job. I thought maybe it could be an allergic reaction that has caused a cyst or a build up lymphatic juice

It is scary because google and webMd has her having end stages of lymphoma but her White blood count was ok.

A mass or swelling? If it is a mass, they should biopsy it.  It is probably nothing but they should place it safe.

yea theres swelling, across the bridge of her neck, it has has a yellow tinge to it from the swelling, its mushy when touching it.

The one behind her ear feels like an egg and makes her dizzy when pushed in on.

I would go to a different doctor or demand it be biopsied.  It could be an infection, etc.  It doesn't sound right. And MRI or Xray is not going to show that

What did the MRI show?

Was the hair color the same product as before?

Take her to an immunologist or infectious disease specialist. (((((Hugs)))))

Thanks for the response.

Mri showed nothing, no shadow, no anything.
The dye was different. Usually she uses clairol, this time something from Sally's with the perm stuff.

Yellow coloring to the skin indicates bruising or trauma. If it does not alleviate, have a biopsy. That is an area you don't want to "play" with.
