What types of behaviour do you define as religious persecution?
Christians opening their mouths...
imprisonment, laws prohibiting the free exercise of one's beliefs, and threats of violence/assaults on an individual and/or church.
Interesting replies so far ladies thank you
Persecution can be violent and deadly, or it can take the form of threats, harrassment, descrimination on the job, etc. There are also more subtle forms such as proseletyzing, long discussions arguing that the person's spiritual choices are evil, wrong, lengthy critical analyses of their beliefs, etc.
Some forms of persecution are very subtle and others are more obvious, even physically dangerous.
This is it.

Harassment personally because of religion/nationality/race or ethnicity.., desecration of house of worship, cemetaries or place of business. Verbal and/or physical attacks. Denial to attend certain community functions or take part in certain community celebrations/activities-or leadership roles.
Quoting jllcali:Being jailed/fined/murdered/injured due to your religious beliefs. Authority figures refusing to investigate crimes/harassment against you due to your religious beliefs.
Not getting special treatment due to your religious beliefs is NOT persecution.

"Can you hear them? All these people who lived in terror of you and your judgement. All these people who's ancestors devoted themselves, sacrificed themselves to you. Can you hear them singing? Oh, you like to think you're a god. You're not a god, you're just a parasite, eaten out with jealousy and envy and longing for the lives of other." ~ The Doctor
