What types of behaviour do you define as religious persecution?

imprisonment, laws prohibiting the free exercise of one's beliefs, and threats of violence/assaults on an individual and/or church.

I agree with Katy_Kay. Telling someone you don't want their religion to be used to make laws, is not persecution!

Being jailed/fined/murdered/injured due to your religious beliefs. Authority figures refusing to investigate crimes/harassment against you due to your religious beliefs.

Not getting special treatment due to your religious beliefs is NOT persecution.

Persecution can be violent and deadly, or it can take the form of threats, harrassment, descrimination on the job, etc.   There are also more subtle forms such as proseletyzing, long discussions arguing that the person's spiritual choices are evil, wrong, lengthy critical analyses of their beliefs, etc.

Some forms of persecution are very subtle and others are more obvious, even physically dangerous.

Harassment personally because of religion/nationality/race or ethnicity.., desecration of house of worship, cemetaries or place of business.  Verbal and/or physical attacks.  Denial to attend certain community functions or take part in certain community celebrations/activities-or leadership roles.

In the religion I just started of "parentslrights1" we believe that ponytails are a sin.

So all you bitches better start learning to curl your hair cuz in making it national law and don't try to persecute me by resisting
