Are you racist?

Many mothers in this group seem abit racist in this group so instead of accusing anyone person I would just like to know are any of you racist? If you are I would like to know why. Was it how you were brought up or did you go through something that changed your thinking?

I will start I am not racist but many in my family are. My father did not like black people growing up but at some point his thinking changed and I am a product of his changes thinking. There are many members if my dh family who don't like white people and it was how they were raised and it seems to linger with some of the younger members because of how society is in their home town.

Nope, I have a very racially diverse family. All humans bleed red, have the ability to learn and grow. Cultural differences should be celebrated and not feared.

The women on this forum who are racist honestly don't believe they are - it's rather disturbing.

I think some do if they are completely honest. I have met many people who will openly tell you that they are including my white half sister who wouldnt let my nephews speak to me in jr high and high school.

I am not. Many of my family members are, and I don't associate myself with them

No, I'm not racist.  I believe someone should be judged by their actions and not by the color of their skin. I will admit I am bigoted towards Italian males.  I think that stems from my ex-husband.  I try to catch myself on it and remind myself that they are not all like the ex.

There are a couple of blatant racist individuals in my husband's family that really sicken me.  They have no problem admitting it either.
