is it an asshole move to type in someone elses quote bubble.

Not only is it rude it disturbs the flow of reading the post... Stay in your own quote bubble it is like you are dry humping their opinion!

Notice this is not a complaint about a specific member nor is it a complaint about CM if anything it is a suggestion of some options that could be helpful to the other members.

I figured I was not alone on that.  It is stupid. I also wish quoting someone put you in a easy read flow like all replies on top or on bottom not scroll up, scroll down, scroll back up, scroll back down... it is like a bad case of ping pong at times.

I agree with both of you.

I'd like the super long quote trees to be cropped. Sometimes they are so long and so big that part of them go under the ads on the side bar, making them hard to read. Then you have to scroll down past all that stuff you already read, sometimes tripling the length of the page. It's not hard to crop out the earliest of the posts, or some in the middle that don't pertain to the actual discussion.

I know and you have to scroll up and down to see who said what. So annoying

Yes, I hate the super long quotes too. I don't mind replying in the quote if it's in a different color, and easy to understand. :)

that is part of the prob. How do you know for sure who which color goes to especially if they both quote only once. I think the inside quote should be locked.
