By outlawing abortions, are we not then accepting that woman's womb is merely a vessel, and that man, ANY man, has more rights to it than she does?
When a man rapes and overpowers a woman, he is planting his seed inside her, staking his claim and society supports him. He is allowed more rights over her uterus than she is. He violates her and she is forced to be raped every day that she is forced to carry HIS baby.
Why even have rape laws on the books? What's a stint behind bars on the taxpayer's dime when he gets to be secure in the knowledge that his act of power continues over the girl...
Does it matter if its her husband?
Or a stranger?
Or her father/brother/uncle/grandpa?
