If televangelist Pat Robertson is any indication, the ‚Äúick factor‚ÄĚ ‚ÄĒ the idea that homosexuality should be opposed simply because straight people are turned off by it ‚ÄĒ is alive and well. On The 700 Club, Robertson explained that Christians shouldn‚Äôt use the ‚ÄúLike‚ÄĚ feature on Facebook for anything the Bible condemns, like pictures of same-sex couples. He would prefer there be a ‚ÄúVomit‚ÄĚ button instead for such images:
ROBERTSON: What you‚Äôre saying is, ‚ÄúYes, I like this kind of thing.‚ÄĚ You‚Äôve got a couple of same-sex guys kissing. You ‚ÄúLike‚ÄĚ that. Well, that makes me want to throw up. To me, I would punch ‚ÄúVomit,‚ÄĚ not ‚ÄúLike‚Ä̂Ķ They don‚Äôt give you that option on Facebook.
