Hypothetical Situation:

If someone was running away with one of your children and by happenstance you have a bag of fecal matter in your hand and its your only shot at slowing him/her down because they're just booking it down the road with your kid and there's no way to catch up....

EDIT: And you have an open faced dirty diaper with a fat log on the chair next to you because you just finished changing said child. (That's why you have poo readily available for the throw...

...do you throw the poop?

Why or why not.

Of course I would.

But I can't imagine there ever being a time I would ever have fecal matter in my hand.

True. Let me redefine the situation.

You have a voice to scream, but you're suddenly hoarse with fear.

You have a knife. But you can't risk hitting your child.

You have a firearm, but same problem. There's no productive end to using it.

And you have an open faced dirty diaper with a fat log on the chair next to you because you just finished changing said child.

You still throw the poo?

Absolutely!

And I frequently have a bag of poo in my hands because I have a dog :)

If and when my child is being abducted all bets are off. I will sling anything at hand if necessary.
I think a better question would be, why not throw the poop?

Of course, the OP is also the person who says throwing poop at politicians is justified.

Show me where I said that? I came here to converse with people who bother to read and comprehend like adults. So in other words, not you.

According to someone on CM nothing in life is worth throwing poo for.

Probably when you stated this

Uh, I think that's a bit of the pot calling the kettle black. And I wasn't aware it was 1910 and I could be arrested for being a "disgusting woman". And being a killer jeopardizes my allocation of latte land points. Can't let that happen now can we?

But seriously, these women are at risk for having their rights taken away. They are DESPERATE. They tried to make themselves heard through conventional channels and the senate of Texas refused to hear them at all! Wendy Davis read their accounts in her filibuster as that was the ONLY way they had a voice. This is a creation of the Texas state senate and they should not be surprised in the slightest.

Lest you forget as you enjoy all those lovely rights you enjoy today (the vote, right to work, etc) that brave women once resorted to measures such as those in the article to secure those rights for themselves AND you. I'm not a Texan, but if that kind of bill made it to MY states floor for a vote, you get your ass I'd throw poop at their poopy heads.

I doubt whoever said that had thought of the possibility of having her child kidnapped in front of her while she had some poo at hand. The likelihood of all these circumstances happening simultaneously being rather slim I am sure she merely forgot to put in the kidnapping caveat

Stop and think to yourself how much time you wasted on proving someone wrong on the Internet.
