Could you move to another country?

Ok, my husband trained some people this summer in England. He has been offered a long term job here. It would probably be 5+ years. It would mean my homesteading dreams would be put on hold. At first I was against it because I was homesick after being in Europe for so long but it would be different since we would have a house and car and wouldn't be cramming in so much traveling in a short time.

So would you personally go for it?

Sweet!  I would go for it!

My dh has an international air traffic control license.  We plan on spending the first 2 years of our "retirement" abroad...not sure where yet.

In a heartbeat. We're already discussing the possibility for the future.

Do you love it?

You were from Sacramento?

My daughter also moved from CA to So America...she went to HS in Sacramento, although we lived in the Sierra Nevada foothills.

I lived in England for 2 years (near Cambridge). It wasn't too bad because I had other military wives, but I did miss the states after a while. It was a great experience though and we got to travel (for pretty cheap) to the other countries. And I think if you can come home abouot once a year you'll be ok.
