Or Jews

Or women

Or Pagans

Or divorcees

Or unwed mothers

My question is....can you discriminate against any of these people if your religion teaches you to believe they are sinners?

How is being "black" considered a sin? Or a woman for that matter?

Well, if you find it, let me know, because I haven't seen it either during the numerous times I've read it.

I know, for example, that old Mormon teachings were that black people couldn't be Mormon because they were sinful or had the mark of Cain or something like that.

Women, maybe they decide that women are not permitted to touch money or do business in some religion.

I'm not being religion specific, I'm asking "if" a religion deemed any of these groups as being sinful or sinners or unworthy for some reason, if it would be OK to discriminate against them.

Nobody's.

I'm asking a hypothetical question.

"If" a religion teaches these things, would it be OK to discriminate.

It's a hypothetical question about no specific religion asking if your religion considering any of those things a sin, would it be okay to discriminate?

It's a homosexuality analogy for Christians who seem to think that their personal religious beliefs are an excuse for discrimination and for denying rights to other people

Yes, but I am also taking it further.

I want to know exactly where the lines are drawn.  :-)
