How long could you feed your family enough calories every day if you could not get to the store for items?

3 days?

1 week?

6 months?

A few days, but we always do our main grocery shopping on Sunday.

As long as we had electricity at least a week.

Do I get to keep electricity?  If so I stand by my answer.

We are thinking the same way :)

How far you go in life depends on your being: tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of both the weak and strong.  Because someday in life you would have been one or all of these.  GeorgeWashingtonCarver

A good couple of weeks.

We have food on hand to survive a week or so but it would get boring. Plus some cash but not a ton. Longer than 2 weeks and we'd have to start playing creative accounting with the household bills.

Thank God......it's Friday!!!

Probably comfortably about 4 days. After that it would get nasty but we could stretch it. We live 3 minutes from the grocery store and buy fresh produce and cheeses on a regular basis. The only frozen food we have is meat that we got on sale.

Except for bread and milk we would be good for about 2 weeks.
