CHARITY does not equal Love... Biblically

God’s definition of the character of love:

Charity suffers long +
Charity is kind +
Charity doesn’t envy +
Charity doesn’t boast or brag +
Charity is not puffed up or proud +
Charity does not behave itself unseemly +
Charity seeks not its own benefit +
Charity is not easily provoked +...

Charity doesn’t think evil about others +
Charity doesn’t rejoice in iniquity +
Charity rejoices in the truth +
Charity bears all things +
Charity believes all things +
Charity hopes all things +
Charity endures all things +
Charity never fails =

Seem like too much to remember?

Add it all together and it equals one Word

That Word is Jesus!

America has a 50+% divorce rate! And no one in America is made to get married.. People get married for love... so obviously love does fail..

And assuming you beleive your bible.. That means it couldn't be Love... right!

That's why it is Charity!

Charity exists in Judaism and other religions too. Not sure why you would equate the concept to just one religion. What about those who follow no religion and still give to charity?

Wow, God told you all that???

Charity to me personally IS love, love for our fellow humans, acceptance that some need help and the willingness to do so.

Giving to a Charity... Is not the same as ACTING Charitable..

Read the list of what THE BIBLE says Charity is!

This is a compilation of what multiple verses say about charity!

People also get married for convenience. Or, because they are knocked up. Or, because their marriages are arranged. Or, because they are afraid of being alone and settle. If you are a Kardashian, you get married for the publicity, then divorce for the same reason.

Yes and these are charicteristics of CHARITY... Which btw was found in the New Testament. No Jew would read that.. And if they do.. they usually wouldn't obey it..

Muslims might read it.. But are prone to follow the teachings in the Koran and just read the bible as a literary source, Not as a direction for every day life.

Like I said to another woman.. READ THE LIST..

It is a direction on how to live and behave.. Not how to give money to a 501c3!

I can see that you are trying to make some kind of point, but I have no idea what it is.

Yes he did.. In his bible.. It is right there for anyone to read..

You may think charity is love.. But look.. They are spelled different..

Charity has 7 LETTERS..

Love has 4!

That alone says they are not the same.

Charity is the CHARICTER that should be present in love.. They are related but not the same..

Ignorance at it's finest. These are ideas literally taken from Judaism. I have to work - I'll give you every detail about these concepts later.
