My children aren't obese, but I find this to be cruel to a child. Just don't participate if you feel that way.

I saw this one and cracked up.

I don't think anyone would actually send out the obese letter, or I sure hope not. Maybe it was just a ploy for attention?

How silly and truly unproductive. The neighbor is simply a troll.

I know its meant to be a joke but I still can't help wanting to smack people for assuming everyone follows Christian morals when I see it.

Guess I've been around in this group too damn much

Wow...that really isn't the idea behind the saying "it takes a village..."

I'd probably be tempted to respond with something along the lines of "In the spirit of village awareness, we would like you to know that makeup can go a long way to make your face less of an eyesore. Hopefully you're sense of community awareness will help you step up and correct this."

I think it is awful.  I suppose it has not occurred to her that her neighbors will know where this came from.

At our old house in Oregon we used to get a lot of teenagers..no costume..not even a mask..no trick or treat...carrying pillowcases for their loot.  My husband starting giving them travel soap.  After a couple of years we didnt' get as many of them.  I am not opposed to big kids going out...but at least put on a mask..otherwise you are just panhandling for candy.
