He is telling his audience what they want to hear.  Kind of  arrogant for Tyson to think he understands the purpose of the universe or human design to determine the level of intelligence behind it's existence.

Of course Neil is telling his audience what they want to hear - they want facts and he delivers.  Instead of discussing his arrogance, let's discuss those facts instead.  Which of those would you like to start with first?

I was discussing facts. Tyson doesn't know the purpose of why the universe or humans exist is a fact.

I was discussing facts. Tyson doesn't know the purpose of why the universe or humans exist is a fact.
