The 24-year-old son of a Montana “crisis pregnancy center” board member has been charged in connection with an attack on one of the state’s only medical facilities providing abortions, KCFW-TV reported on Thursday.

Authorities in Kalispell arrested Zachary Jordan Klundt while he was allegedly trying to break into a local bail bonds shop. They later matched his shoe print to one taken at All Families Health Care after an office worker reported finding the clinic damaged earlier this week.

RH Reality Check reported that the suspect’s mother, Twyla Klundt, is a member of the board at Hope Pregnancy Ministries, a Christian facility also located in Kalispell.

All Families manager Susan Cahill told RH Reality Check that the suspect’s mother has told patients that Cahill’s husband, an acupuncturist, “does the work of the devil.” Cahill also said she believes the incident was part of an attempt to intimidate the clinic — one of only four in the state — into shutting down.

“It comes in waves, but it’s an incredible shock that anybody could have such hate and anger that they would do something like this,” Cahill was quoted as saying.

The suspect is accused of causing extensive damage to the facility’s medical equipment, furniture, supplies, files, main sewer line, furnace, and water heater, among other items. He has been charged with attempted burglary, burglary, criminal mischief, and theft. If convicted on all counts, he could spend up to 60 years in prison and pay $200,000 in fines plus restitution.

Cuff 'em

And this type of stuff is exactly why protesters mus maintain distance from the clinic.  All it takes is one raving idiot.  I hope they sue him into poverty and jail him indefinitely.

Yes, because violence is the answer for those who incorrectly claim to be pro-life - what they are in reality is anti-choice.

If you don't like abortion don't have one. It really is that simple

So when a Democrat was wrongly accused of beating his wife, his political affiliation had no bearing. It is t he crime that matters.

But this guy being the son of someone does have bearing?  Destroying businesses has no religious or political limits to one side either.

Religious or political affiliation matter when a crime is committed because of a person's religious or political beliefs.     Destroying a building (or other structure) can most definitely have a religious or political reason.

But the guy who has the religious affiliation isn't the one who committed the alleged crime.
