Corporations That Receive Corporate Welfare Should Limit Exec Pay

I would actually take this one step further and say that corporations that have a significant percentage of employees that receive PA should also be required to limit executive pay.

It makes sense to me.....if you can't pay your own way or employees without taxpayer help, why shouldn't executive pay have a cap on it?

I would also extend this to non profits which receive tax benefits, yet often have outrageously paid executives.

Thoughts?

I totally agree and wish others would see the amount of corporate welfare that gets paid out.

Completely agree. I also don't think that companies who ship work over-seas rather than hiring workers here at a decent wage should be recieving ANY tax breaks of any kind

The government can not tell businesses what to pay their employees as long as they wages meet minimum wage, and do not violate overtime laws.

If corporations accept no corporate welfare and pay their employees enough that they don't need PA to survive, then I agree with you.

Otherwise, why should taxpayers subsidize huge salaries?
