Saw this on Facebook today...  I love their disclaimer:

Warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults), and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors).

The mouseover says this about it:

I can't remember where I heard this, but someone once said that defending a position by citing free speech is sort of the ultimate concession; you're saying that the most compelling thing you can say for your position is that it's not literally illegal to express.

This is so true.  Every time I hear someone say something that they get blasted for, then whine about their free speech being compromised, I want to scream.  Say what you want - and we will, too.

It is a notable hypocrisy, isn't it?

Haha, I've had my freedom of speech violated on more than one occasion and there is no comparison to getting kicked out of an internet community. Having cops yell at you is a little scary while censorship of CM just makes people butthurt.

But censorship on CM is written right into the TOS... so violating it is more or less voluntary, right?

I've never been yelled at by cops: how do you get into this situation?
