Are you a Republican, Democrat or other?  What are your personal political beliefs.

I think that the federal government has become too big.  I think that big decisions that will affect individual states should be left for each individual state to decide on. I would even take that down to a community level, where towns and cities have more rights than the state.  I also believe that individual liberty comes above all with only small regulations regarding them (so that we don't have issues with disrimination and such).

I am not a Republican or Democrat.  I don't really identify with any party.

I am a Democratic Socialist I believe the state should own necessities (medical, energy, utilities, etc) and that small business for other nonessentials should be encouraged. I am prolife on every issue

Yes, enough money for foreign aid when we have people starving here.

I do not, and will not ever affiliate myself with one political party. I vote for the candidate, I have voted candidates representing almost every party we have - PC, Liberal, NDP, independent. We haven't had a Green Party rep I've felt confident enough in to vote for yet, and I'm pretty sure the communist party will never get my vote, their candidates are pretty fringe-y.

Personally I'm very liberal (that's small 'l', not capital).

I believe everyone has a basic right to housing, food, medical insurance, etc. Companies should be forced to provide those things, even if it is just in a reasonable salary. My wife told me about how in Japan the top person in a company can only make X times the amount the lowest person in the company gets paid. This helps to ensure a healthy economy.

In addition, we should be looking into renewable everything. We need to take care of ourselves and others (meaning actually think about your neighbor instead of just about getting yourself ahead). The government should be enforcing laws to protect us in these senses. I think they should even go as far as banning chemicals that are harmful to us.

But, stop making stupid laws like druggies get 5 years whereas murders get the same. Stop overcrowding the jails with non-violent criminal offenders. Revamp the system so that prison is rehabilitation instead of "punishment".

I have been called a socialist and a marxist. I don't argue with either but I don't readily identify with either. I don't use a label for my political views.

Moderate who wishes there was a party with common sense, compassion, and who didn't think compromise was a dirty word so I could actually feel represented.

I believe that stating democrat or republican is no different than stating bblood or crip and does just as much good. I think that we are all sheep and as long as it sounds the way we want it to Fuck what the real message or the outcome is. We're a nation of hypocrites that believe we stand for a certain something when in actuality we go with the flow.

I am pro-mind your business because my life doesn't affect (effect? I can never get that right LOL) yours. I'm a registered democrat. I've been voting third party a lot lately. Right now, I'm fed up with congress, Obama...EVERYBODY. America doesn't seem to realize that charity starts at home, and that helping those that are less fortunate isn't a bad thing.
