I haven't been on here much due to my real life being busy... I only ever post in here, and *maybe* the breastfeeding group, anyway... I know the morals of this site have always been questionable, but promoting formula to a pregnancy group? Really? Is the sponsorship worth the potential damage they're doing?

There are alot of people who dont breastfeed for a variety of reasons. Most formula fed babies stay alive. You do know this is just an Internet forum and you wouldn't be missed if you left?

not all women choose to breastfeed and I see no reason for this site to shame them for their choice.

We also do not pay to be members of this site, so therefore the site relies on ad dollars and sponsors to stay in business.

if you leave, take care.

Feel free to leave if that's your choice. Formula and ads are fine.
Not all women choose to breastfeed. Why should cm have to only cater to breast feeders?

Is there an actual post for debate here, or are you just looking for people to beg you to stay?

I'm a huge bf'd supporter, but I do acknowledge that in some cases it is not best for mom or baby, and formula is a perfectly fine way to nourish a child.

There are more formula companies out there besides Similac.  There are mothers out there that choose to formula feed or are forced to formula feed.  I don't see what the big deal is.
