Douchebag of the year?

COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL!
On a Flight from CLT to PHL, a pilot asked all passengers to stay seated to allow a family traveling with deceased soldier to deplane first. Out of respect, the entire plane sat still and in silence while a woman and children, in tears, left the plane... EXCEPT for this jerk. Four times he was asked to sit and he NEVER did.

He'd have to be blind too.

why?  woman and children exiting, even crying would not alert and connect the dots of a soldiers family mourning or bringing their loved one home.

I wonder why the individual who took the picture and posted it didn't take a picture of him on the plane.  Or even a video of it happening.

People post a lot of misinformation on the internet.  Yes IF this guy did that he is a douchebag, but nothing really supports the claim.

So what?  It is you that looks equally bad.  There may have been reason.

Only one woman and a couple kids all crying got up and left. Everyone else stayed seated.

Gut reaction #1: yes, that's a douchey thing to do if he understood.

Gut reaction #2: maybe he didn't understand. My oldest has a hard time picking up social cues and if he missed the announcement he might have stated to deplane as well.

Gut reaction #3: if he really was asked 4 times to sit down and he understood what was said, we are back to him being a douche. Some people are really just assholes.

ADHD can be a good thing when you want to analyze several options at once. :)

Not necessarily.  We all live in our own thoughts.
