Some RECENT Examples of the POTUS/administration Bypassing, Ignoring, Overstepping the Constitution:

  • The President's abuse of power by making recess appointments while the Senate was not actually in recess
  • The President using executive privilege during the Fast and Furious
  • The President announcing that his administration will stop enforcing certain immigration laws
  • The President announcing Feds will not enforce certain drug laws.
  • Changing a law at least 5 times since it was signed and enacted.  The Constitution gives POTUS veto authority.  Not the authority to change laws already in place.

Could these types of Actions from the POTUS create a Domino Effect of others not following the Constitution?

No one is commenting on this (except for pp's eyeroll), but it is a legit question.

Some folks support it if Obama does it, but what if we have a republican president after the next election, and he/she decides to do the same with major partisan issues?

We just had a president unilaterally decide to invade a soverign country that had made no aggressive moves towards us at all.  And caused us to be at war for 10 years.   And you're complaining about Executive orders?  Look it up sometime, Obama's number is still lower than GW Bush's.

Congress approved military action in Iraq. Not sure what your point is.

You make people leave CM. You drive them away. There is a meaness and coldness in you that pushes people away and makes them cancel their CM accounts. I know a few of them.

I wondered this when all power was given to Bush, no one was to worried about the rules that were being blown to shit then. Nice to see people bring up the abuse of power in a forum that will accomplish jack shit. :-)
