The Know-Nothing Violence Candidate

Trump refuses to acknowledge the violence that is occurring at his campaign rallies.  In fact, this morning, he said that it should be even worse than it is.  He's told his followers to throw out and punch protesters.  And yet, it's apparently a-ok.  Not even his rivals in the GOP will condemn it.  What the fuck is happening?

Beyond that, last night's debate, in which the candidates played nice and actually had to discuss issues, was horrifying.  It revealed that Trump really knows nothing about the issues and his opponents aren't much better.

The GOP is proving that we will have another Democrat in the White House.

I sure hope so.  We may win both the House and Senate, too.

This support for Trump, in the face of all the horrible things he says/does, baffles me.  He's playing his followers for fools.

This is what happens when you tap into peoples anger.  Anger is ignorant.  Anger is completely blind to facts.  This is what Trump is relying on right now.  I think that this will change a lot when it comes to him having to battle against the Democratic nominee.
