It seems odd to pin this on Bernie, especially when he's been encouraging violence from his supporters at his rallies.

The only way this makes sense is if you believe the Trump is a Clinton plant theory. Otherwise, it makes no sense from the info shared.
I would think he would want to disrupt her events, unless he believes Bernie might win.
