Rasmussen reported Monday that 50 percent of likely U.S. voters approve of President Donald Trump's job performance in its daily presidential tracking poll, with 50 percent disapproving. This marks the first time in over a month that the president has ranked in the 50s.

Trump's approval stood at 59 percent just after inauguration, according to Rasmussen polling, and dropped as low as 42 percent in the months since he took office.

The latest figures also indicated 30 percent of respondents strongly approve of Trump's job performance and 39 percent strongly disapprove.

Rasmussen compiles their numbers from telephone surveys of 500 likely voters each night, as well as an online survey tool that randomly interviews selected participants who are demographically diverse.

Trump retweeted a tweet on Monday by The Drudge Report that highlighted Rasmussen's findings.

LOL- he has done nothing. Nothing has changed.

These are probably the same folks who fully support the ACA but find Obamacare a total failure.

Trump loves the poorly educated.

I'm just envisioning getting one of these pollster calls myself (I may have but ignore #'s I don't recognize and Dh just ignores any call unless from one of our kid's) and boring the snot out of the pollster on everything I feel about this president, this country, and the two major parties.

Do they consider it "passionate leanings" when you cuss.....like...a lot?

Fewer illegals crossing, jobs added beyond expectations, cut the National Debt, businesses gained confidence. Samsung, Exxon, Carrier, Fiat, Hasbro among others adding jobs back in the US. That's just a start

And? It's just a poll and like all polls the results are determined by the number of people polled, as well as where the live, their financial status, and pretty much any number of other things that can and do affect one's opinion on any given day.

Taking a rather more methodical polling company than Rasmussen, we get

Gallup uses exclusively telephone polling and has a long history of accuracy in a huge range of polling activities. By contrast, Rasmussen is doing some telephone interviews, but padding the data out with online questionaires. Polls with Rasmussen's methology have traditionally overestimated support for extremist (left or right) candidates.

That's hilarious. Have you seen Jimmy Kimmel interview people on the street and asking them that question and getting that exact answer? He's so sharp and on the ball and you can see how much he enjoys showing us the idiots who walk among us !
