JFK’s Great Nephew Just Became President Trump’s New Public Enemy #1

Kennedy’s response to Speaker Ryan’s claim that the Republican replacement to the Affordable Care Act, which Ryan claimed was an “act of mercy, immediately went viral. In a passionate speech from the house floor, Kennedy exclaimed, “With all due respect to our speaker, he and I must have read different scripture. The one that I read calls on us to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to shelter the homeless, and to comfort the sick. It reminds us that we are judged not by how we treat the powerful, but how we care for the least among us,” adding, “This is not an act of mercy. It’s an act of malice.”

Since that impassioned two-minute speech, Kennedy has been further thrust into the national spotlight. He is using these opportunities to dismantle Republican legislation and the reckless actions of Donald Trump. Watch this exchange on CNN in which Kennedy blasts Trump’s wiretapping claims with eloquence and poise.

In all of this we know two things: that Donald Trump has a new public enemy #1, and that that public enemy very well may end up the leader the Democratic Party so desperately needs…

Interesting! Would you vote for another Kennedy?
