What Obama said was fine. It just wasn't powerful.

I hate the idea that this will be used in comparison........

However, most definitely, our former president has always been a very eloquent and elegant speaker, even on Twitter and even choosing the most apt quotes.

People were demanding that Trump say something immediatly.
So Obama had more time to think of something.

It wouldn't have mattered what Trump had said. It was going to be picked apart no matter what by those in this country who don't like him.

Trump's response was NOT fine. Why does everyone get their panties in a wad when politicians won't utter the words "Islamic terrorist" but it's super normal to use the words "hate on all sides" for a goddamn KKK rally. The KKK is not ALL sides of anything. They are one side. One disgusting, highly specific side!
