I don't know. On one hand I can see the point. I didn't have anything to do with how I was born, or where.


On the other, I can be proud of my country when, as a whole, it does something praiseworthy. I can be proud of my heritage because of contributions my ancestors made to the world. I can be proud of my background as it adds to the beauty of my whole person, not just my accomplishments but who I am.
