I was home sick. I watched it repeatedly on tv, crying. I was wearing a bracelet about Judith resnick at the time...

I was in college. A sad day that shocked the nation.

I was also watching the re entry of Columbia, live. I saw pieces flying and just sat there stunned, thinking, this thing is coming apart. I was on the NASA channel and nothing was being said. I switched another TV to the news and still waited for it to be announced.

I was at work, and we were told! I couldn’t get to a TV until I got home from work.

I was home sick from school that day and was laying on my Mom bed watching it. It was so shocking to see.

My son was 3 months old, and I was feeding him and watching it on television.  I knew just what you were talking about just from the date.
