New Text Between FBI Lovers: 'Obama Wants to Know Everything'

New Text Between FBI Lovers: 'Obama Wants to Know Everything'

The latest text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page show one exchange that references former President Obama in relation to the Clinton email investigation.

The text, which was sent from Page to Strzok, discussed preparing talking points for former FBI Director James Comey, who was going to give them to Obama.

On September 2, 2016, the attorney said she was preparing the information because “potus wants to know everything we’re doing,” raising new questions about his involvement in the investigation.

Other revelations include:

Among the newly disclosed texts, Strzok also calls Virginians who voted against then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's wife for a state Senate seat "ignorant hillbillys." (sic)

That text came from Strzok to Page on Nov. 4, 2015, the day after Jill McCabe lost a hotly contested Virginia state Senate election. Strzok said of the result, "Disappointing, but look at the district map. Loudon is being gentrified, but it's still largely ignorant hillbillys. Good for her for running, but curious if she's energized or never again."

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., along with majority staff from the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, is releasing the texts, along with a report titled, “The Clinton Email Scandal and the FBI's Investigation of it.” (Fox News)

The texts also show a puzzling gap in the timing between the discovery of emails on Anthony Weiner's laptop and Comey's infamous letter to Congress about the investigation right before the election.

"Got called up to Andy's [McCabe] earlier.. hundreds of thousands of emails turned over by Weiner's atty to sdny [Southern District of New York], includes a ton of material from spouse [Huma Abedin]. Sending team up tomorrow to review... this will never end,” Strzok wrote to Page on September 28, 2016.

But it wasn’t until a month later that Comey informed Congress he was reopening the investigation into Clinton’s emails.

"In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday..." Comey said at the time.

Other texts showed more anti-Trump sentiments.

On Election Day 2016, Page wrote, "OMG THIS IS F***ING TERRIFYING." Strzok replied, "Omg, I am so depressed." Later that month, on Nov. 13, 2016 Page wrote, "I bought all the president's men. Figure I need to brush up on watergate."

The next day, Nov. 14, 2016, Page wrote, “God, being here makes me angry. Lots of high fallutin’ national security talk. Meanwhile we have OUR task ahead of us.”

Page’s meaning here is unclear, but Senate investigators say, coupled with Strzok’s Aug. 15 text about an “insurance policy,” further investigation is warranted to find out what actions the two may have taken. (Fox News)

The messages then ended when Page wrote to Strzok on July 23, 2017, “Please don’t ever text me again.”

Whether they had gotten into a fight or if she realized their text messages had been discovered is unclear.

Clinton won by almost 3 million votes.

https://www.cnn.com/2016/12/21/politics/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-popular-vote-final-count/index.html

And your county count doesn't hold up:

https://www.snopes.com/trump-won-3084-of-3141-counties-clinton-won-57/

Quoting niceandhappy:

3141 - Number of counties in the U.S.

3084 - Trump won

57 - Clinton won

---------------

62 - Number of counties in NY

46 - Trump won

16 - Clinton won

-----------------

Clinton won the popular vote by 1.5 million votes

5 counties around NYC (Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhatten & Richmond) - 2.0+ million Clinton votes

These 5 counties = 319 square miles vs U.S. = 3,797,000 square miles

Do you really think that's a picture of a very "popular" candidate? Yeah - in and around NYC, and the other coast. That's why we have an Electoral College!

Quoting jessilin0113: While I concede she wasn't the best candidate, the popular vote disputes your assertion that "we" didn't want her running the country. The electoral college is what got your horrid human being in.
Quoting codfish: She didn't lose the election because of Russia or Comey. She lost because she is a horrid human being whom we didn't want running the country
Quoting jessilin0113: That caused them to reopen the Clinton investigation? And then cause her to lose the election? Gosh, what shocking anti-Trump bias. *edit: quote came from article in The Hill
Quoting niceandhappy:

Who are you quoting?

And about the same time that the emails were found on Weiner's lap top that Comey didn't address for 3 weeks.

Quoting jessilin0113: "But the texts were sent in September, roughly two months after Comey announced he would not recommend criminal charges against Clinton for using a personal email server as secretary of State. The texts were sent three days before Obama was scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G-20 summit in China, meaning that the messages could have been about the Russia investigation and not the Clinton probe." So without context you have nothing. Jesus. And you guys accuse liberals of being desperate.

The Snopes article says she won more than 57 counties, but doesn't state how many.

Will you concede that her majority of her popular vote is due to the liberals coasts?

I repeat, that's why we have an Electoral College.

No I won't concede. Here is a really good map that breaks down voting better, it shows red/blue pretty evenly split, all across the country.

That map with the figures representing the number of people who voted is excellent. It really gives the most accurate picture.

I agree. I live in Idaho, and most electoral maps have it solidly red, but there are enough Democrats, especially in certain areas, to at least make it sort of purple-ish, and this map shows it at 2 republicans for every democrat, roughly. Which is still a lot (because, Idaho), but not so much that Democrats can't occasionally give a republican a run for their money. Our last election wasn't nearly as much of a sweep for the GOP as they've been in the past.
