Tucker aims direct hit at Ralph Peters for dissing Fox on way out the door:

Tucker Carlson's reaction to former Fox News contributor Ralph Peters leaving the network in a huff could be summed up in one sentence: See ya, wouldn't want to be ya.

Carlson tweeted a video excerpt from an interview he did with Peters in July 2017, writing: "Ralph Peters has been in the news lately. Check out our interview with him from last summer. It says it all."

During the fiery interview, Peters - a Never Trumper who voted for Hillary Clinton - compared Tucker to a Nazi sympathizer.

Here's what happened: Peters, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, was furious that Carlson had suggested the United States temporarily work with Russia to stamp out a bigger enemy: ISIS. You know, like how the U.S. and the U.K. collaborated with Russian dictator Joseph Stalin during World War II to defeat Hitler.

Peters spat out: "You sound like Charles Lindbergh in 1938 saying, ‘Hitler hasn't attacked us'!"

Tucker retorted: "I beg your pardon? You cannot compare me to someone who made apologies for Hitler. And I don't think Putin is comparable to Hitler. You just compared me to a Nazi apologist because I asked the question: ‘Why does it contravene American interests to make common cause with a group that is trying to kill ISIS?'"

Many people didn't even know who Ralph Peters was until he issued a public statement denouncing Fox News as a "propaganda machine" when explaining why he decided not to renew his contract as an FNC contributor.

Peters specifically took issue with FNC coverage spotlighting the egregious mistakes made during Robert Mueller's investigation of alleged Russian collusion, for which he has produced no evidence. Peters wrote:

"In my view, Fox has degenerated from providing a legitimate and much-needed outlet for conservative voices to a mere propaganda machine for a destructive and ethically ruinous administration.

When prime-time hosts-who have never served our country in any capacity-dismiss facts and empirical reality to launch profoundly dishonest assaults on the FBI, the Justice Department, the courts, the intelligence community (in which I served) and, not least, a model public servant and genuine war hero such as Robert Mueller-all the while scaremongering with lurid warnings of ‘deep-state' machinations - I cannot be part of the same organization, even at a remove. To me, Fox News is now wittingly harming our system of government for profit."

Fans of Fox News - the No. 1 cable news station for the past 20 years in a row - dismissed the disgruntled Peters, saying he's auditioning for CNN, whose coverage is considered by many as more overtly biased and propaganda-like than FNC.

Former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke responded to Carlson's tweet about Peters with this quip: "Tucker was a man among a boy in this interview."

It's unclear if Clarke was referring to Ralph Peters' high-pitched voice (which sounds like a prepubescent boy) or to his childish arguments.

Meanwhile, Twitter users reminded their followers of the time Fox News suspended Peters in 2015 for calling former president Barack Obama a "p***y."

Another wrote: "Ralph Peters is a disgrace to our country. He voted for Hillary Clinton, he's a never-Trump idiot. He will fit in perfectly with the communists at CNN. Want to see real propaganda, go to CNN!"

Col. Ralph Peters called Obama a Pu**y on live TV. ☺I applauded him for that. Now he quit claiming it's a propaganda arm for Trump. Who's the pu**y now Ralph?

Peters is a grouch , basically doesn’t seem to like anyone.
But Tucker and Fox News are biased and not very bright.
They canceled each other out.

Well said! Neither individuals are that credible... in my eyes! Peters has probably had enough of the Trump-lovefest that Hannity and Ingraham has shown lately!

The evening programming for FoxNews is biased because they are commentary programs. Starting from 8pm on. For the most part FoxNews is not biased during the day and is very fair in their coverage.
Compare that to CNN and MSNBC and all day they have biased programs all day
