yesterday, I saw a quick flash of these two kids, the girl looked totally embarrassed, but still tenderly at her botfriend, holding their newborn daughter. I didn't even catch where they were- doesn't matter, I guess. The boy is so small! I would have guessed he was 10yo.The girl? I'd guess 12. I heard a reporter asking the boy how he would support his family. "The best as I can." was his little answer. Wouldn't it be great if ALL the men running around with children felt this way?!
I have not gotten all the answers, I just caught a few seconds of the boy holding his newbborn daughter, and the girlfriend/mother beside him for a few seconds. I think one of the grandparents were keeping all 3 of them home & safe. As for morals and being"PC" I personally don't care. What's important now is that these kids are taken care of safely away from judgemental and prying media coverage.

But morals are important. What is to keep these children from having more children? Where was the supervision of these kids? Who is going to raise this new baby? It seems to me that with the very limited information we have neither the boys parents nor the girls are equiped to supervise them much less raise another child.
Now I realize this is based on limited information and parents can't supervise their children 100% of the time. But my concern is what were these kids exposed to either in the home or from the media that told them sex at their age was O.K.
As far as the media, the parents had to have signed a release for the children to be featured on the news. By law you cannot feature a minor or give their name without a release signed by the parent or guardian. You can't be judged by the media if you don't put yourself in their hands. If you don't want to be eaten don't go in shark infested water.
i read about this, the live in england, the mother lives withher parents, and the little boy come over everyday to help take care of his daughter. the father of the boy says that his son does not yet understand how this will change his life.
This story really scares me...I have a 10 year old son. I will have to get his daddy to talk to him sooner than later. I agree, where were the parents...at work, trying to feed their family.
We as parents have to teach our children what is right and at what age is is right and pray they listen. We can't be with them 24/7 so we have to trust them and what we taugh them sunk in to their brain...the one in their heads.
I think the Govt. should use some money to assist families where the wife/mother stays home to be there for the kids and hey aren't running the streets. If they paid mothers to do that $100.00 a week even) would help with the bills and give them a special break at tax time as well. There are some programs that they are just wasting money on and can use it for this instead.
Just stay away from the FUDGE and nobody will get hurt
