Whatever.  If people choose to live that way I don't see why the can't.  The only time I have a problem with it is if it's a forced situation.  If you're the legal age to marry and you decide to enter a relationship this way, go for it.

As long as it's legal and nobody is forced, I have no problem with it.  It's actually pretty common in some parts of the world, and honestly, I could see the benefits of having more than one mom in the house (if you can get past the whole "sharing your husband" aspect of it).

Dr. Phil said that the secret to inner peace was to finish everything you started.  So I looked around the house, finished the book I wanted to read, my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, and a bottle of Jack Daniels.  You wouldn't believe how calm I am now.

I think it's funny to hear about the stories of women having multiple husbands.  I would never choose that for myself but I feel a strange sense of empowerment when I hear about it happening.  :)

I guess consentual adults should have the right to practice polygamy if they choose. (I personally couldn't).

I think it is a personal choice and people should mind their business.

To each his own, but honestly, the men sure do benefit the most in my opinion.  I personally don't get it.

How come you never see this in the reverse....one woman with multiple husbands?

to each their own w/in limits.

of course the 1st being of legal age to marry... but with that said i think 13  is the legal age of marriage with parental consent in some states, but most are 15-17.

while i dont think its right for a 13 year old to marry, if that is the life they are living and they believe in it, then so be it... (marriage age laws for the 50 states)

just like gays/lesbians have the right to marry, i dont see what polygamists should be denied either.

everyone has their own way of living and that is one that they choose.

whatever works for that family is fine with me as long as they arent taking advantage of the government aid, tax payer dollars, etc.

It is against my Christian beliefs to start with.  I can't see this as anything but a disaster for the children involved. And I can't imagine being a woman in this lifestyle.

Just as I believe that gays and lesbians have the right to marry so should polygamists. It would not be my personal choice but the government should not dictate what consenting adults choose to do with other consenting adults.

I am a married, liberal, agnostic, pro-choice, GLBT rights supporting, country music loving expectant mommy!
