You can find the strangest things on craigslist. I often browse the online want ad site for pure entertainment purposes.

And every once in a while, you'll get some smart alec posting about selling or giving away children.

 

 

Recently one CafeMom found this craigslist ad for free kids posted by someone named "Marietta," which may or may not be so funny, in your own view:

"A bundle of kids I'm willing to get rid of. They aren't hard workers, and are very immature. They are between 3 and -- s**t, I'm not sure how old the oldest is. IDK, maybe 12. Come pick em up!"

Okay, we'd all like to think this was a joke, and it probably is. This woman (if she even is female) probably doesn't even have kids. Or maybe she does and were just having a bad day -- this was her own way of venting to feel better.

But, I wonder. If they were intending to be funny, wouldn't they have tried to make it a tad more humorous than that? Because Ricky Gervais she ain't.

I don't know, I thought it was kind of funny, as long as she didn't have any contact information posted or anything.  We all have those days!

I think it's funny. I think that once you reach the point where you can't find a certain dark humor in being a mom, you really, really need a vacation.

I think its funny. i can understand where they come from. lol. Sometimes i consider selling my toddler to the circus, but they would just bring her back. lol

That's hilarious. What's not funny about S**T I don't know how old the oldest is. What parent really doesn't know how old their kids are. lol. Its a joke. I have offered my daughter to the gypsies at the ren faire, as a joke of course before anyone decides it wasn't funny enough to be a joke.

I think it was funny because I find it hard to believe anyone would actually do that,and I have had many of those daays inthe last 21 years.Calgon cant take you away from the knocks on the bathroom door.

I think it's hilarious and people who don't either don't have a sense of humor or don't have kids that ever get on their nerves.
