Hot Topic (4/26): What do you think happens to us after we die?
Do you believe in heaven...or hell...or reincarnation?
Or, do you think nothing happens...when it's over it's over?

I believe that we go to heaven. I also believe that there are spirits/gohsts around us. You know how babies will sometimes look up somewhere and start smiling, well I believe that the really do see something. It's that or my aunt has made me crazy.
http://www.near-death.com/ I believe we go on check it out.
How do you explain?

When it's over, it's over. I didn't exist before I was born, and I will cease to exist when I die.
You decompose...
I think you simply cease to exist and rot away. I also think people made up an afterlife because they refuse to believe that we live and then we die and that's it- it scares them and so they invented a place where you go after death to continue 'life'.
How do you explain this? Anyone?

I think some people are just as afraid of being held accountable for what they did with their life. So they deny the spiritual.

I am not afraid of being held acountable for anything. I am a good person, in fact, I've seen MUCH worse people who DO believe in the after life. There's just no evidence of an afterlife. It's a comforting thought, but it's not true.
As for near-death-experiences? You dream when you're unconscious. If you have believed all your life that heaven or hell or whatever looks a certain way, and you believe you're going there, then you're probably going to dream about it....since it's in your head.
