  • Why wouldn't I be because of all the great things he has done so far?Like trying to passing a bill to insure that his birth certificate never sees the light of day or the trillions of dollars he is blowing through or his socialistic medical plan . I know all the Cabinet hire es with screwed up backgrounds and more of his delightful bills and his great demeanor with some of the other countries .  Then there is the fact once again of where he is really from . I know taking monies from AIG. Your right what was I thinking?

  • I did not vote for him and have only agreed with maybe 5% of the work he has accomplished since being in the white house, but I see nothing he has done or not done as being an impeachable offense.  To me hating him and having clouded judgement because of it is just as bad as those who adore the man and have clouded judgement because of their adoration of Obama.

We should not let our love or hate of the President get in the way of good old fashioned logic and common sense.

Okay. If these are your reasons.

Did you feel that GW Bush should have been impeached?

There were people in his cabinet that weren't exactly squeeky clean. There were people on the White  House staff that were convicted of crimes...  Bush also took money from AIG  and those socialist bailouts started under him. Bush signed items into law giving him, his staff, and others immunity in many instances from investigation and prosecution (most having to do with Iraq)..   These things really are no different than what you are accusing Obama of.

As far as healthcare is concerned.  The majority of healthcare in America is socialized actually. Between: government benies that congress critters and everyone on the hill receives, military benies, vets benies, medicaid, medicare  a very larger percentage of Americans already in a socialized healthcare program..  So his healthcare proposals, though really out there to some, really aren't that crazy, new or un-American.

As far as the birth certificate thing is concerned. I accept the birth certificate that was produced. So in that vain, non issue to me. As for the bill you are talking about, from my reading the bill (what all I could find and read) my understanding is that it is a protection of press and sources used. Not to protect him personally in regards to his birth certificate.

Has Obama really done anything that really is an impeachable offense........

  • His birth certificate has been released, however, some nuts prefer to believe it's all a big fake. Yawn.

Again, I'm curious as to the specifics of what would make Hitler proud? Grounds for impeachment?

It's fine to not like him - I just spent 8 long years despising George Bush. But Bush was no Hitler and neither is Obama. And making those kinds of comparisons doesn't make any sense.

  • There is no basis to impeach him, but there are many reasons to vote him and his blind followers out of congress at election time.

  • Obama the President of the United States of America is not a American his grandmother and his uncle have both reported this and the magically unavailable for further comments .Obama is now trying to get a bill passed to which now member of goverment have to show personal documents unless ordered by the courts which if you do your research every lawsuit for Obama's birth records get dropped like fire in Supreme courts and the individual filing them get some kind of repremand usually. Obama has also took bribe money from AIG or did you miss that I believe it was to the tune of about $101.332 this is illegal no matter who you  are. I gues the fact that Obama is bailing out all the banks and companies and wanting goverment controlled medical and wanting to have control over internet that the thought never crossed any minds of why he wants to control almost everything. they even want to control /regulate small farms and farmers markets why?Why wouldn't I compare him to HITLER  he contolled his country and do you know that he does not have some kind of similiar plan in mind? He did go to a church that preached hate for 20 yrs.I know I am not the only one he feels this way.  I am not the only one who feels that Obama is pointing this country towards socialism so if this is not how you fell sorry . I am looking at all he is doing and putting it all together and I do not intend and sit back blindly and let a non American ruin our country and then say how did that happen!!!

Senator Barack Obama received a $101,332 bonus from American International Group in the form of political contributions according to Opensecrets.org. The two biggest Congressional recipients of bonuses from the A.I.G. are - Senators Chris Dodd and Senator Barack Obama

The A.I.G. Financial Products affiliate of A.I.G. gave out $136,928, the most of any AIG affiliate, in the 2008 cycle.  I would note that A.I.G.’s financial products division is the unit that wrote trillions of dollars’ worth of credit-default swaps and "misjudged" the risk.

The Washington Post reports a "mob effect" at A.I.G financial products division:

A tidal wave of public outrage over bonus payments swamped American International Group yesterday. Hired guards stood watch outside the suburban Connecticut offices of AIG Financial Products, the division whose exotic derivatives brought the insurance giant to the brink of collapse last year. Inside, death threats and angry letters flooded e-mail inboxes. Irate callers lit up the phone lines. Senior managers submitted their resignations. Some employees didn't show up at all.

With the anger and rage that is being exhibited against A.I.G., perhaps the bonuses Obama received from A.I.G. explain Obama's A.I.G crocodile tears.

Now that the Wall street Journal has revealed that A.I.G. paid bonuses of $1 million or more to 73 employees, it's time to ask if recipients of A.I.G. "bonuses," including President Obama, will give what now ought to be taxpayer money back?
