Do you agree with everything in America?

If you answered no you may be considered by some as being anti-American...

Globally, increases in perceived anti-American attitudes appear to correlate with particular policies or actions,[4] such as the Vietnam and Iraq[5] wars. For this reason, critics sometimes argue the label is a propaganda term that is used to dismiss any censure of the United States as irrational.[6]

Discussions on anti-Americanism have in most cases lacked a precise definition of what the sentiment entails, which has led to the term being used broadly and in an impressionistic manner, resulting in an incoherent nature in the many expressions described as anti-American.

Thats crazy, how on earth could you agree with everything in America? Especially when we are allowing so many things to happen by our inaction? I think in most cases people like to point the 'anti-American' finger when they lack a better argument with someone who differs in opinion. (and I kinda felt like I was being led in a circle with that last paragraph! lol)

I was pretty sure I read at some point in time in a history book that the reason we became a nation was because people did not agree with those in charge....hmmm I guess we still have a lot of Tories.

I would be considered anti-American....  Last year when we went to Cherokee, NC -  I told my oldest the story of the trail of tears, he is not busting with pride either.   I think that many Americans can agree that we have made our mistakes.

Who agrees with everything America does? I challenge you to find one American who blindly agrees with everything our country does. And if that's what the rest of the world thinks, how utterly f*cking stupid and why do I care? What is that? A type of thinking one could only possess did they not enjoy freedom of thought? People wouldn't disagree with their government ONLY in some fascist dictatorial state where they didn't enjoy the freedom to disagree. Clearly, we're not there yet. Freedom of... thought, speech etc. is HUGELY American. If I'm thought by some to be anti-American for disagreeing with my government, maybe they should familiarize themselves with American history.

a great thing about our america is that we have the right to voice how we feel . no one tells us that we can not say anything . my son defended our country and the right for you all to say what ever they want to say . we are a wide view of many different subjects we can not agreee with them all . we see many shades of colors . not just black and white . and i do not mean race . why cant we get along  .

I may not agree with everything you say but i defend your right to say it .

No, of course I don't agree with everything in America... but I do think that some citizens show a lack of respect for what America stands for...

Of course not. I love this country and the ideals and principles it was founded on but disagree with many things our govt does. I'm pretty outspoken about it too.

No worries, I've been called all the names that right wing extremists call evil, Liberal, Heathens like myself. I consider the source.

Thank God......it's Friday!!!
