I truly don't understand how this doesn't outrage people.

Me, neither.

I just posted on this a couple days ago.

It's just sickening.

People care more about their fear of socialism and finding people they can call lazy so they can explain why so many people don't have health care.

They don't know that or it does not click that $7 million dollars per day of their tax money is going to the Zionists to support them in this second holocaust.  Some of them say it is ok that this is happening because God says that it is going to happen.  These people are so callous.

I watched it, but didn't respond because I don't know what to say......it's awful.

It's truly frustrating. I have posted about this in several other groups. And the most common reply is, "I don't care about other countries, we have our own problems, like health care."

And I say, "But $7 MILLION A DAY could really help out our economy!"

And they say again, "Not my problem. We need to fix our country first."

It is so frustrating. People don't seem to realize that we could kill two birds with one stone. We could help fix our economy with an extra $7 mil a day and we could prevent many deaths. Maybe we could start to clean the blood from our hands. It's like people just block out that number 7 and the million after it. Or they think we're giving them money to help their poor. And there's always the famous argument, well the Muslims are giving money to Palestine, we have to balance it.

It is really sad to watch the desperation of that family..  but.. before they moved in there, didn't they know that Israel didn't want them there?

I am not so sure I trust the translations..  Who translated? What happened before the video starts?  Had they warned the family they were going to take down the house?

I agree that this incident is  very sad.. there are two sides to this conflict and story. For every sad story like this from the Palestinian point of view, there is one from the Israeli point of view.

I notice you ladies never post the sadness from the other side..

Palestinians aren't building settlements in Israel.  Israel is building settlements on Palestinian land.  Israel knocks down the houses of Palestinians to make room for more of their illegal settlements.  The vast majority of the time they are not even compensated financially for the loss of their home.  Family farms are confiscated...we're talking about farms that have been in the family for hundreds of years and have documentation to prove it...and the response of the Israeli courts is that Israel's "right" to expand their settlements trumps the rights of the people who have occupied that land for several generations.

I'm having a very bad day today; my home is less than a year old, but the AC unit stops working in the hottest part of the day ($13,000 for this system and it's 100 degrees in NE FL today).  My icemaker in my less than year old refrigerator ($2,400) isn't making ice.  My dishwasher, also less than a year old, is acting up ($600) and my dryer, my fancy $1,000 dryer, has been on the blink for almost two weeks and has seen $200 in repairs costs though it's still not repaired.

I wanted to just break down in tears over my "PROBLEMS"...

Now, I'm totally ashamed of myself.

I remember quite a few years ago when they bulldozed over and as a result murdered an American collage student who pretested by standing in front of the house.

It's my understanding that one of the 'excuses' they use- is that members of the householder are in the PLO- and it's an anti terrorism measure...yet months later- low and behold...it becomes a new Jewish settlement.
