I am so torn so I thought I would find out what other Moms are thinking and why.

My DD is not here yet, but I won't get it while pregnant. It's too rushed and I don't trust it.

It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creed into law if it acquires the political power to do so, and will follow it by suppressing opposition, subverting all education to seize early the minds of the young, and by killing, locking up, or driving underground all heretics. - Robert A. Heinlein

I will not be getting my kids the H1N1 vaccine.  I don't trust it, they came up with it too quickly and I have heard a few doctors saying the same thing.

No, I don't like that it was done in such a hurry, AND the drug co. that makes it was given immunity (cannot be sued) by Kathleen Sebelius. I understand why she did it, butI think it is wrong.

The swine flu really isn't much worse than the regular flu. People who die from it, 99% of the time, had a previous condition that compromised their immune system.  It isn't to be feared more than the 'regular' influenza virus, that kills 35,000 ppl a year, BTW.

NO. There is not enough evidence to me to PROVE why I SHOULD vaccinate my 6 and 3 year old. I don't want them to be the guinea pigs. I will get them a flu shot though. Just not H1N1.

NO!

Throughout the world, there exists a group of women who feel mightily drawn to giving care to women in childbirth. At the same time maternal and independent, responsive to a mother's needs, yet accepting full responsibility as her attendant; such women are natural midwives. Without the presence and acceptance of the midwife, obstetrics becomes aggressive, technical, and inhuman.

I flip flopped with my decision for a while. Now I am decided on NO. I will not allow my son to be a guinea pig by getting a brand new vaccine for which the side effects are unknown. Call me a crazy consipiracy lady, because maybe I am! But my kid isn't getting that shot & neither are his dad & I.

Considering the one and only time in my 35 years I've had the flu was AFTER I received a flu shot, that'd be a big old hell to the no.

VITAMIN D! VITAMIN D! VITAMIN D! Go outside, get some sunshine and drink your OJ. Take a multivitamin and wash your friggin hands. A LOT safer than a vax that was developed by a pharmaceutical company with $$$$ as the bottom line.
