well, i just got back from the dr and he is sending me for a mammogram. :( he said it is not an infection. when he did my brest exam he did feel a lump. he said he thinks it is either a tumor (which means surgery) or it's calcifications (which means i just have to put up with the pain and swelling).

well, when i went to take my shower tonight i noticed that i have a bruise(sp) that runs along the curve of my boob (you know around by the side kinda, but also kinda on the front lower part) if that makes any sense. i really hope this is just some kind of infection. i'm still really worried though.

ouch my boobie hurts!!!!

please pray, chant, or what ever it is you do for me. i'm going to the dr on monday to get my boob checked out.

it's had a tender hard spot for a couple of weeks now and as of yesterday it is also swollen. it's swollen to the point that i have become very lopsided, i have one boob that fits in the bra cup perfectly and one that in literally spilling out of the cup. and it actually hurts more when i don't have a bra on.

i know there is a family history of boob problems; cancer (dad's sister died of it) and benign tumors (mom's mom had to have at least one removed). i'm very scared about what the dr might find.

any support would be helpful. thanks ladies.

I hope they find out what it is. Good luck. I also hope they can fix it. Ow, that does sound like it would hurt.

God willing it's nothing serious.  You must be feeling uncomfortable.  Did you know that taking tumeric pills actually help prevent breast cancer in women?  They also kill bacteria in the body.  You can get these at most health food stores.  I hope you feel better very soon!

Turmeric is a spice but there is evidence that says it causes cancer cells to eat themselves.

Are you breastfeeding, or have you lactated in the past?
