First day of spring!!

It is the first day of spring!

Where the heck are the flowers??? Buried under about 7 inches of snow, it looks like. -_-

Yesterday is was soooo warm, I was outside in a tank top and jeans in our backyard! It was lovely, warm, bees were out, flies were out, we even saw butterflies. And.. Now... We're having a blizzard. 60 to freezing overnight!!! But, meh, I spent the day getting caught up on some sewing.

What is the first day of spring like for all of you? How did you spend it?

Oops...It was my parents anniversary today... :S  I totally forgot...   Anyways...we spent it playing outside. I'm at my Grandma's house, and we went and visited one of her friends and my son played with her dogs. LOL.   

It's been nice here, thank God. :)

It snowed hard in the morning, but was really nice by the afternoon.  I did my spring cleaning and oiled my diningroom table, chairs and hutch.

I spent yesterday raking in 70 degree weather. It was lovely out! Except for the blisters :) 

We were so busy moving in last fall that we didn't get to finish the yard before the snows fell. Now, we have time finally!

 Today was our holiday. We had egg hunts, looked for bunnies (they are out everywhere here), and we sat outside from sun up until sun down.

It reached abour 45 today. Tomorrow it's supposed to be over 50. We're happy, because now it's a week of Spring Cleaning to welcome in the season. I have a lot of laundry to wash and I have to wash the mattresses from the winter. I need the good weather so that they can dry well before coming back inside.
