I have started making some of my own, and am wanting to branch out stylistically. I crochet and am learning to knit. Does anyone have any good patterns or links to patterns? Free ones are best, but I'm interested in any.

I Googled this once and I think I found some in MennoniteMaidens... You could simply Google a Head Covering search and it will bring up a lot of ideas and women who sell them. Do you make the longer veils? I would be interested in seeing them if so...
I am working on a chapel veil made of crochet thread in a shell pattern. It will reach my shoulders when finished. I have a pattern for a long triangular one next, and I'd like to try to make a dupatta, though that would be rather fine work.

I have red-auburn hair. Do you make a variety of colors? Do you tend to wear veils that match your hair or your dresses/skirts?
I usually match my clothes, I like color :). In fact, at the moment I only have one brown cover (I'm a brunette), and I rarely use it because it's a bit too big. I have scarves that I use as bandanas and tichels, I have some small triangular kercheifs I crocheted, two snoods ( bought not made, but they are on my to make list) and the chapel veils I am working on.
