Every time couples get engaged, I wonder how they decide on their
wedding date. I mean, they've come a long way deciding to get married,
but how is the wedding date decided? I understand it all depends on the
season at times, but do couples close their eyes and point to a random
date on the calendar?
I know it sounds silly, but do couples
pick a random date to get married? I know some don't. For example, a
friend of mine got married on Halloween because it's she and her
fiancee's favorite holiday, and I know a couple that is getting married
the same day she and her fiancee started dating exclusively.
Interesting, eh?
Did (or does) your wedding date had/have a
hidden, significant meaning behind it? How did you decide when you were
going to get married?
I think it just all depends on the couple. I know someone who's getting married Halloween because the place where she's having the reception at offered her a discount, compared to the other places she was looking into.
I don't know, though.
I didn't want to have a winter wedding bc i would freeze to death, i didn't want to get married over the summer bc i would sweat like crazy, and I hate the fall because I think it's depressing. so i decided to get married in the spring when the flowers are about to bloom and the weather is just perfect. so, i decided to get married in may... the perfect fit :)
