Wedding Cake vs. Wedding Cupcakes?

A lot of people prefer to have the traditional wedding cake for their special day; however wedding cupcakes are starting to become popular.

After all, wouldn't it be easier to give everyone a cupcake instead of cutting a massive cake, which may lead to a big mess? Then again, the traditional act of cutting a cake as "one" sounds romantic... so why change the tradition to something so simple?

Would you prefer to have a wedding cake or wedding cupcakes? Do you think having wedding cupcakes will be the "traditional" thing in the future?

The cupcakes are classy and a nice change... what does it matter if it's a cake or cupcakes? Cupcakes are just smaller pieces of an actual cake!
