When's the last time you cleaned out your medicine chest and under your bathroom sink?

Time to get rid of expired medications, OTC and prescriptions. How many different partial cans of bathroom cleaner did you find under there?  A good way to use up shampoos & conditioners  you find under there that you didn't like, is to wash the dog with them.  Makes him smell nice and you didn't completely waste your money this way.

I REALLY need to do this!! I see soo much junk in the bathroom, bottles of lotion that arent going to be used, half used shampoo, expired vitamins and medicines etc. I am boxing up all the shampoos, conditioners, lotions and other body products and donating them to the womens shelter. all the expired vitamins and medications are headed to the pharmacy so they can be disposed of properly! and the pharmacy will recycle those prescription bottles!

I did this about 2 months ago and threw out 2 big trash bags of stuff that never should have been dumped uder the sink.  Then there were the old meds that went straight into the trash.  I actually can find things agian.

I'll be tackling under the kitchen sink next.

Very nice ideas, indeed!

I do clean out underneath the sinks by sorting & prioritizing & pitching things once every month, but I take everything out to scrub that space once a week.  Every month, I go through everything & pitch what needs to go & make an action plan to use up what's useful.

I scrub out the medicine cabinets weekly, but I pitch & prioritize every 2 weeks.  One of our medicine cabinets is full of my honey*man's "stuff & things" & I leave the pitching & prioritizing of his things to him.  It's good to share the joys of simplifying.  *wink*
