Hi, my name is Michelle and I started this group as a way for charities and businesses to promote their services and products for preemies. It occurred to me that many groups ban advertisements, but some moms want to know what's out there. So I started this group as an informative way to let everyone know who is offering what. Moms can make their own decisions whether or not to use the services or products, but at least we will all know what is available to us.
Moms, you can also join and share information that you find that might help others. You don't have to be affiliated with the business or charity to mention them.

The main charity that comes to mind is March of Dimes. Sometimes I wonder, though, if money donated to super large charities is really making a difference, or is it going to pay the CEO's salary?
When a close relative of mine had a preemie, my mom made lots of clothes for it. Does she count as a charity? LOL.

Looks like this group is off to a slow start. No problem. I found another charity dedicated to preemies. It's called American Preemie Foundation. Their website is www.preemiefoundation.org I think their mission is worthwhile.
