About Natural Pregnancy and Childbirth

Are you trying to concieve, pregnant, or wishing your last pregnancy and birth were different? This is a community for people who desire a natural pregnancy. A natural pregnancy, meaning free from unnecessary medications, painful and often degrading exams, unnecessary ultrasounds and unnecessary C-sections and interventions. We understand that not all pregnancies are problem-free and some require medical intervention. The main intention is to raise awareness so women have access to better information. Making informed decisions can give women much better birth satisfaction. Our information can help shed a light on why intervention-happy caregivers increase the amount of complications, cesareans, and less satisfying outcomes. We hope to be able to provide useful information on treating common pregnancy ailments and even some complications with natural remedies, teas, herbs, and diet. Pregnancy is normal, it is not something to be feared or an illness that needs to be “treated.” Another goal of ours is natural childbirth at a birth center or home with a midwife; but for those who cannot, a hospital labor and birth, free of unnecessary interventions .

This is a DRAMA FREE group, meaning no venting posts about other moms. We are here to build up, not tear down. No namecalling or bashing. We are not here to debate, so please do not join if you are not truly interested in natural pregnancy and childbirth.

Please remember we promote homebirths unless a serious condition calls for a hospital birth. Please do not encourage mothers to have hospital births, unless medically needed.
