My daughter will not hold her bottle. Shell drag it around by the nipple, but she well not feed herself. Ik shes strong enough to hold it. She holds heavier toys. She just refuses to feed herself with the bottle. Shell hold feed herself num num, and bitter biscuits but not her bottle.... Shes 9 months btw..

is it an issue that she doesnt hold it?

And it there any way i can encourage her to hold it?

Have you tried having her hold it (with a little help) while your feeding her? When she does give her lots of praise. I wouldn't worry too much about it at this age.

Try not helping her. If she gets distracted by other stuff in her surroundings, move them all and just leave her with the bottle.

I dont think so my baby doesn't like to hold her bottle either I think she just likes the closeness when you hold her to feed her
